I am Lucia, a Portuguese artist, living in London, UK.
I studied art at school, then did a painting course, and a degree in Fashion Design in Lisbon in my early twenties.
I then studied Communications Sciences and came to the UK in 2000 to do an MA in Electronic Communication and Publishing at UCL.
Art has never been my main occupation but I have always kept drawing when I could and today I specialise in charcoal and India/China Ink drawings.
Today, I am a yoga and meditation teacher and use drawing as a form of focus meditation and mindfulness.
I also like to combine drawing with my passion for yoga and fitness so I enjoy drawing bodies exercising or just in stillness.
